Chapter 68: Sad Moment
Ren and Scarlett were currently in their house, or more precisely, they were in the living room.
After dealing with Owen and the others, they went straight home and spent time in the living room.
They did not discuss the previous incident because it would ruin their mood.
"Where are you going?" Ren inquired.
"I forgot that aunt Evie ordered twenty chicken eggs." She responded, "I also want to buy poultry feed because our supplies are running out."
"Let me do it." he wanted her to stay in their house because something bad almost happened to her earlier.
"Alright." She agreed immediately.
Right after he left, Scarlett headed to the kitchen.
’Then I will try to make a birthday cake again.’
She was alone, so it was a perfect time to learn how to make a birthday cake.
’I won’t fail again today.’
