Chapter 62: An Abandoned House
Ren stopped his footsteps and turned his head toward the source of the sound.
’Hmm?’
He saw three children around his age.
From their clothes, he knew they were beggars because their clothes were dirty and full of holes.
Dirt even could be seen on their entire bodies, including in their hair.
The names of these children were Alfie, Tom, and Dex.
Alfie, the leader of the group, stepped forward. "Leave this place now! Otherwise, we will beat you up later."
"Yes. We will beat you up if you don’t leave this place immediately." Tom and Dex said in unison.
Ren was furious with their behavior.
He believed he found the abandoned house first, yet they acted like the abandoned house belonged to them.
Of course, he did not accept it because he needed a place to take shelter, especially when Scarlett was sick.
