Haru focused his attention on the peculiar water droplet.
He distinctly remembered slaying only one Heretic God – the Heavenly Emperor. So, where did this droplet, brimming with divine power, originate?
"Egg, scan my body," Haru commanded, suspecting he might be under the influence of an Authority or some unknown effect. How else could a divine object enter his body without him noticing?
As expected, the egg detected a faint, foreign energy lurking within his soul. Haru, alarmed, immediately ordered the egg to annihilate it.

So that's it! That energy was from the Netherworld. Because the Netherworld is a realm of spirits, the spirit holds precedence there. Memories experienced there are etched into the spirit. Naturally, when I return to my physical body, my material brain lacks those memories, resulting in a memory gap.
With Netherworld energy carrying the memories, when the soul re-enters the Netherworld, the energy would merge with it, and the memories would resurface. But I have the egg to protect me. It annihilated that energy and transmitted the memories back to me.
