Chapter 305: A call from the butler
The urgency in his kiss made her squirm under him, pulling him closer, her fingers fisting into his shirt. Her reaction made him even wilder. Augustine groaned against her lips, hands sliding down her waist, gripping her hips. Every kiss deepened, every breath shortened.
Anne gasped, her body arching into his, her fingers slipping under his shirt. "I need you," she breathed, trembling in need. "All of you."
The pregnancy hormones made her body flushed, her pulse racing, her need sharp and electric. She felt like her skin was too tight, like she’d combust if she didn’t have him right now. Her legs wrapped around his waist as she kissed along his jaw, biting softly at his neck, drawing a low, feral sound from his throat.
They tore at each other’s clothes in a blur of frantic movements. Shirts hit the floor, then pants, and underwear.
Anne’s eyes glazed with lust, lips swollen from intense kisses. "I want to feel everything."
"Really," he smirked, heat spreading inside out. "Then I have to fulfil your wish."
He leaned down to meet her lips, but his phone rang on the nightstand, stopping him. Frustrated, he groaned inwardly. Ignoring the call, he leaned down yet again, seeking her lips.
Anne pressed her hands against his chest. "Check it first. Maybe it’s urgent."
Augustine was not in the mood to talk to anyone. Yet, he obeyed her and picked up the phone from the nightstand. But the moment he saw the number, he dropped the phone back and turned his focus on Anne.
"What?" Anne blinked with confusion, turning her head to look at the phone, which was still ringing. "Why aren’t you picking up the call?"
"Unimportant," he muttered as he kissed her, hungrier this time, as if he had been starving for this for so long. His hands touched her everywhere, not leaving an inch. Her back arched off the sheets as he entered her, her eyes widening at the feeling of fullness.
"God, Anne," he breathed. "You feel so good."
