Gabriel stared at his father, stunned into silence. The thought rang in his mind like a slap— ’’Augustine will inherit everything," he murmured under his breath.
For a moment, he couldn’t process it. He had been certain the shares would come to him. After all, he was the rightful heir. This... this felt like betrayal.
If Dimitri went through with it, Augustine would control nearly half the company. With 15% from his late father and 30% from Dimitri, he’d become the highest share holder. He could seize the chairmanship.
