Chapter 338 - 344 Love on Track (1)
The male student was so nervous that sweat was forming on his forehead.
Windsor Myres smiled gently, nudging him with her shoulder, and coquettishly whispered, "Come on, teach me how to write your name."
"This..."
The male student looked at her face so close to his, blushing furiously, and quickly leaned towards Camden River.
"Move aside!"
Camden River suddenly stood up.
"Class leader, I..." The male student quickly withdrew his hand, looking up at him, stammering, but before he could finish, Camden River had already squeezed past him, looking at Windsor Myres with a cold expression, and said in a deep voice, "Move, I’m going out."
"No, I won’t!" Windsor Myres raised her eyebrows with a smug smile.
Camden River glanced at her with forbearance, suddenly stepped on the edge of her chair, then onto the back row student’s desk, and landed steadily.
He walked straight out.
Mia Ginger was startled by him, hearing a chorus of gasps and exclamations around her.
"Camden River!"
The teacher on the podium was also startled, and after focusing, realized it was him, and called out in exasperation.
Camden River, with his height and long legs, took only a few steps to reach him and explained, "Sorry for disrupting your class, I need to go out for some fresh air."
He had entered Cloud Capital University’s School of Journalism and Communication with the top score in the province. His outstanding performance in all aspects made him a campus celebrity. Though it had only been a few months since the start of the term, the teachers in his department recognized him.
They were naturally also aware of the complicated entanglement between him and Windsor Myres.
The teacher glanced casually and understood why he needed to get some fresh air at that moment.
"Alright, go on," the teacher said, waving his hand generously to let him go.
Camden River nodded and turned to leave the room.
Exclamations erupted behind him.
The teacher was about to continue when Windsor Myres suddenly stood up at the back, and without notifying him, chased after Camden River.
The cheers in the classroom grew even louder.
"Quiet, quiet!"
The teacher called out in exasperation, picking up the attendance sheet, and put a large cross next to Windsor Myres’ name.
Honestly!
In all his years of teaching, he’d never seen such a willful student.
It would serve her right to fail the semester completely!
As the teacher frowned and looked up again, he saw Mia Ginger standing by the lectern.
Mia Ginger looked at him with a bit of helplessness and said, "I’m class president of Class Seven, Mia Ginger. I’m a bit worried about Windsor Myres. Can I go out and check on her?"
The teacher recognized her as well.
He said directly, "Go on, go on, just don’t let her cause any trouble."
"Thank you, teacher."
Mia Ginger nodded and left as well.
——
Camden River was feeling quite exasperated.
He felt he’d gained yet another insight today.
Windsor Myres had once again tested his limits.
How could there exist a girl who had no regard for her own reputation?!
And asking for hands-on help with writing?
Unbelievable!
Could she not have a bit of self-respect!
With a cold and frustrated demeanor, he walked out angrily. He had just descended a few steps when he heard Windsor Myres’ crisp voice behind him, "Camden River!"
Camden River didn’t stop and quickened his pace.
Windsor Myres, wearing short leather boots, quickly ran a few steps and caught up with him at the hallway corner, grabbing him.
"Let go!"
Camden River felt his head spinning, not even bothering to look at her as he tried to shake her off.
"No, I won’t!"
Windsor Myres directly spread her arms to block him, "Why are you running away during class time, what’s up with you?"
