Chapter 325 - 331 Rivalry Between Love Rivals (7)
"I won’t!"
Windsor Myres dug her nails into his flesh, and Camden River, unable to withstand it, dragged her by the wrist into a corner.
Windsor Myres hadn’t even steadied herself before she kissed him abruptly.
Camden River turned his head to avoid it.
Windsor Myres had one arm hooked around his shoulder, clinging onto him so tightly he couldn’t push her away.
Windsor Myres had this knack; a temper that flared up out of nowhere, causing a scene at the slightest disagreement, and if that weren’t enough, she insisted on dragging others into her drama.
What had he done to upset her?
He had no idea whatsoever.
Camden River stood there with a stony face for a long time.
Windsor Myres clung to him for quite a while too.
God knows how long they stood there.
She bit his neck, and the metallic taste of blood filled her mouth.
Windsor Myres let go.
Standing in front of him, she wiped her lips hard and then turned away.
Camden River watched her retreating figure, feeling furious with nowhere to vent, and after a long while, his hands at his sides clenched with a crack.
He turned and went back to the dormitory.
Windsor Myres had bitten hard, and it felt like a chunk of flesh was missing from his neck.
Camden River sat grim-faced on his chair, took a small square mirror from the drawer, and carefully inspected it.
His neck was bleeding profusely.
He hissed softly, seeing his own sweaty forehead and livid face in the mirror.
A dorm mate came in from the balcony with a phone, caught sight of his neck, and exclaimed, "Oh my god, what happened to you?"
"It’s nothing." Camden River pressed a tissue to the wound, which quickly turned red.
Being meticulous and clean, he had brought a small first-aid kit to school.
But—
Last time Mia Ginger scraped her knee, he had given her the iodine and band-aids.
Now he had nothing to use.
Camden River tossed the blood-stained tissue and pressed a fresh one on.
The commotion naturally drew the attention of his dorm mates.
They paused their game, slipped on shoes, and gathered around him, one of them hesitantly said, "Windsor Myres bit you, didn’t she?"
"Don’t mention her."
"Uh." The boy looked awkward, "That girl is too aggressive, Class Leader, where’s your first-aid kit? You should clean the wound and apply some medication. The wound definitely needs to be bandaged."
"No need." Camden River gave him a sideways glance, "I’m fine."
"But the blood..."
"I said I’m fine!"
Camden River shot him an exasperated look and said gently, "Alright, go back to your game."
"..."
The boys exchanged glances.
Just as they were at a loss, a clear voice suddenly called from downstairs, "Camden River, Camden River!"
Mia Ginger’s phone was taken by the police, and she had forgotten to buy another during the day. Running downstairs, she realized and had to shout like Windsor Myres.
Seeing many boys peeking down from above, she felt frustrated until Camden River appeared.
She quickly raised her hand and said, "Return your stuff."
"I’ll be right down."
Camden River nodded at her, turned, and left the dormitory.
