I can upgrade the shelter

Chapter 159 - 157: Plantation Location Selection

With the system’s installation feature, Chen Xin just needed a thought to move a set of aquaponics equipment originally stored in the storage room to the greenhouse, connecting it to several hydroponic planting basin tanks.

The aquaponics system has relatively strict requirements for the oxygen content, pH value, total nitrogen, temperature, and alkalinity of the water, so after Chen Xin installed the equipment, even though he didn’t start running it, he still needed to use the monitoring instruments included in the equipment to check the water quality to ensure it met the requirements.

Fortunately, Chen Xin was using groundwater, and since he had only been adding nutrient solutions to grow plants, the water quality was still fine.

However, due to the recent increase in groundwater temperature, the water used in the shelter inevitably had a slightly higher temperature, which also caused the water temperature in the hydroponic planting basins in the greenhouse to be a bit high.

There’s no problem with growing plants, but if used for fish, unless they are tropical fish, the fish might feel uncomfortable.

So when actually using it, Chen Xin needs to consider controlling the water temperature to avoid it becoming too high and turning fish farming into making fish soup.

And this is actually easy to control because the groundwater Chen Xin uses is first pumped up and stored in water tanks and is only used when needed, then transported from the tanks to the water pipes in the shelter.

Therefore, as long as the groundwater pump draws up the warmer groundwater and it’s not used immediately but allowed to cool for a while before using it, there won’t be any problems.

As for the hot spring pool that Qin Lan wanted, it’s easy to manage, just add another insulated tank to keep the drawn hot water at a constant temperature, or even more simply, use the water immediately after drawing it.

After all, most so-called hot springs are either too hot or too cold, so true bathing-friendly hot springs are rare, hence most hot springs require heating or cooling, and some are just hot spring water brought to the pool and boiled.
