Chapter 11: Passed Away Peacefully
As the Federation’s two spacecraft disappeared on the surface of the meteorite, the entire world seemed to plunge into an indescribable silence.
No one knew what was truly happening, because the explosion of that Tsar Bomb earlier caused a strong electromagnetic interference. The Blue Planet had lost communication with the three spacecraft on the front line. Many of the broadcast images on TV were just snow, as if the broadcasting directors were so shocked that they forgot to switch the scenes.
The unbearable silence lasted for about a minute, but that minute felt as long as a century.
It seemed that the broadcast directors finally realized their job, and the image on the TV was finally switched. It was no longer a sea of snowflakes but the live NASA command center.
Since the spacecraft were from the Federation, the two Federation spacecraft were commanded by NASA here.
Having lost contact with the front line, everyone was eager to get some explanations or assurances to soothe their anxious hearts.
Chen Xin was also very nervous at this moment, but he could somewhat persuade himself to remain calm because he had guessed there would be electromagnetic interference when the Federation decided to drop the nuclear bomb.
However, this electromagnetic interference caused by the nuclear explosion should not last too long, and the spacecraft should have defenses against this. Communication with the front lines should be restored once the interference dissipates.
