Muyang shut his mouth. He could hear those "danger, danger, danger" alarms going off in his mind. He changed his words. "Honey, you are very nice and loving but too strict when it comes to openly spoiling the children. We should have taken her out for ice cream and pancakes."
She snorted. He was probably going to say she was too strict when it came to her words. She had scared him into changing his words.
Chi Lian got the vanilla bean ice cream, she was searching for and at the same time dodged Chi Mimi who was chasing Noodles out of the fridge.
She followed the girl and cat, climbed the stairs and went up to Mei Mei’s music room. Rose and Mingzhe were inside. Jun Yi as well. She was playing the piano while Jun Jie and Jun Lei put on a comedic ballroom dance. They were both fighting to take the lead.
Muyang cleared his throat. "Everyone that is not named after a flower should step out now."
Mingzhe was the first to stand up. He picked up Jun Yi like a doll and carried her out. Jun Jie and Jun Lei followed and Muyang also stepped out. He closed the door.
