Chapter 330: A fugitive hunt.
There was another place where people were not watching Whiskers 10. It was the tunnels in E city where technology was banned in a closed off community. The very place where Mo Wenbin had run off to.
The people that lived there were preparing to go to bed when Imperial soldiers and SWAT invaded like angry bears. Their drones buzzed in the air like swarms of deranged wasps and ten Imperial dogs kicked up dust as they raced into the tunnels, growling and kicking up dirt.
"This is a fugitive hunt, everyone should stay in place and wait to be identified. We will simply take the person we seek and leave the rest of you in peace. Be warned, all resistance will be met with force." A voice from a drone warned.
This fugitive hunt was for Mo Wenbin. He was not considered an average criminal but a slippery criminal mastermind that had aided many in a life of crime. When the police learned of his escape, they added him to the list of fugitives in the empire.
Intel had come in an hour ago that he was hiding in this underground town and he was either in the network of tunnels or the farmsteads.
SWAT Officer Tu Ruiqi was scrolling through a tablet with a list of thirty members of this underground society who were criminals--two of whom were on the national most wanted list and one on an international one.
"You know they worship some kind of lizard deity down here." he told another officer.
"Not the time Ruiqi." The other one said.
Tu Ruiqi laughed. "Watch out for lizard in the beetroots and pumpkin field."
"Let’s begin, the commanding officer of SWAT, Nie Linying bellowed." She was a woman with strong fists and mean eyes.
