Chi Lian mad Bingwen sign an ironclad contract. If he betrayed her or any Chi or Jun, death would be his fate.
When Bingwen left the office, his legs were shaking. As soon as his feet touched the ground outside of Phoenix tower, he threw up everything he had eaten.
Bingwen had been so afraid that he felt ill. His body was burning up. As a doctor, he could tell that he was coming down with a fever. It was so sudden and he could not fathom why his body was reacting like that.
Was this a sign of fear or had more ingredients been added to the meal he had eaten?
He did not know but he stumbled slowly to his car and instructed the brain of the self driving car to send him to the nearest hospital.

Outside station16, which was a police building, Mo Liang was seething, boiling with anger as he had been made to spend an entire day in a police cell. He would have been there longer if the Empress had not used her family connections in the police to bail him out.
The lawyers that the Empress sent gave him some advise, including staying away from Jun Meilin. They were not in the know of the Empress’s plan.
Tang Yue was the family member that came to pick him up, along with their son Mo Hao. Mo Hao was sulking because his mother had refused to buy him a full Phoenix train set toy which cost a lot of money.
Unaware of the problems his parents were facing, he complained as soon as his father entered the car. "Dad, mom refused to buy me a Phoenix train."
