Chapter 241: What the thief had!!
Mei Mei was in a pretty great mood that evening when she got home. She slid into the house with a hiss on her lips, and nearly tumbled over the tiger cub. It was the douse of cold water she needed to remind her that in her house, she had to walk carefully at all times like an intruder.
The tiger cub jumped on her leg and clung to pants with small sharp nails, making distressed meows.
"Great job Count Ticula, you have ruined my pants." She said with dry sarcasm and then picked up the cub. "What do you have to complain about? You have a luxury house, feed on expensive food, sleep on a comfortable bed and watch cartoons. I even bought you all the toys...."
It wrung on her hair and she winced.
"Does anyone know why Count Ticula is furious?" she shouted.
Su mama, stepped out of the kitchen with Count Ticula’s feeding bottle. So all this fuss was over some milk! Count Ticula jumped down and run to Su mama, meowing even louder and more furiously. It was not enough to announce his hunger, he jumped up and tried to grab the bottle.
She squatted down and started feeding him. He grabbed the bottle and run away with it. They had all become accustomed to watching the baby tiger laying on its bed and drinking from the bottle like a baby.
"Young miss, welcome back." Su mama approached Mei Mei with a smile and took the bag from her. "Young miss, why are you without a personal assistant? Even the little miss has one. If you need help, I can tell my daughter to quit her job and come work for you. She is a gold level personal assistant."
Mei Mei was surprised to see her old nanny but she did not ask what the woman was doing in her house. It was likely that her mother had sent her or the old woman have volunteered to come over.
"Thank you Su mama, if she is willing then I will hire her." Mei Mei stretched her arms.
Chen mama came from the kitchen and handed Mei Mei a cup of Lemon balm tea. She tch-ed at Su mama as she walked away.
"Mmm." Mei Mei frowned.
