While others were discussing the tragedy which had befallen Cosmosis, Jingzhe was thinking about the message which he had received from the Empress Mother. She had already received information from the International space station about the explosion.
To her, it was time for Jingzhe’s randomly blurted plan to come to fruition.
"Boss, what statement are we going to make?" Manager Gao shouted loudly with the look of someone salivating over a a buffet of his or her favorite foods.
"Boss."

"Boss."
Assistant Xu had to nudge Jingzhe and get his attention. When he looked up, the question was repeated.
Jingzhe replied, "For what? Cosmosis is an American company, it is not in our empire. Also, if we come out eagerly to make a statement before everyone else, someone might accuse us of sabotaging them. Moreover, people died.
Saying something random might make it seem as if we are gloating, especially if it sounds like we are saying ’I told you so.’" He drummed his fingers on the desk slowly. "We did not say anything when they launched their new technology and we will not say anything now."
"But other companies will speak out." Manager Gao reminded Jingzhe.
Jingzhe nodded. "They are not us. We don’t need to be involved in the dirty muddy senseless fight which will not benefit us. What we can do is release a brief statement sharing our sympathies for the victims and that will be all." He braced his arms on the table and leaned forward. "Accidents sometimes happen in our line of work. Today Cosmosis has encountered bad luck and tomorrow it could be us."
The employees that had been ready to gloat and share with the world all the ways in which Cosmos could have done better sighed.
