Chapter 180: Bad news for the host.
Jingzhe backed away from her and her covered his chest, looking at Mei Mei suspiciously. "Sister, are you lusting after my body?"
A snort escaped Mei Mei’s nose. "You!" She hissed playfully. "What is going on in your mind? I am not talking about a tumble in the sheets, I mean just to keep each other company. I feel like hugging a Jingzhe sized pillow to sleep tonight."
Extravagantly, Jingzhe exhaled loudly. He wiped hid forehead like he was wiping sweat but his forehead was as dry as a desert.
"Phew! I thought I was going to be eaten by the big bad Mei Mei monster tonight." He took her hand, interlocked their fingers and led her to her bedroom.
He went into the bathroom to take a shower first. Meanwhile, Mei Mei stepped out onto the the balcony to answer a call. The caller was an old neighbor, a kind woman from the old neighborhood that was nice to her and Mingzhu.
"Mrs. Lu, what a surprise." She said in a friendly voice.
The voice which came from the other end of the phone was not that of Mrs.Lu however. "Meilin, its me, your mother-in-law."
Immediately, Mei Mei’s smile died. "Wrong number." The last person in the world that she wanted to talk to was her ex mother-in-law.
"Jun Meilin, if you dare not to talk to me, I will go to Mingzhu’s school and make trouble. If you think that I am not capable of it try it and you will see." She threatened.
