Chapter 149: Where was Jingzhe.
The innocent words said by her daughter sounded rather dangerous and they sent chills up her neck. Mingzhu would probably talk with her fists, not her mouth. Just because she was smarter now did not mean she loved doing homework now anymore than she did in the past.
"General, I don’t know who it is but I don’t think that person would like to meet you." She said. And yet, as she responded, she was on the internet looking up the person that invented homework.
She was sure that many people had searched for this individual before.
"I have the answer Mingzhu, but he is dead so it doesn’t matter." Madam Feng said loudly.
The information came late, Mingzhu had already moved on and she was playing with the kittens. They were competing on who would meow the loudest. As always, Noodles was unbothered. Mother cat and General Big Yellow were cuddled by the window, looking out and ignoring the kittens. Now that they had acquired human slaves, they did not need to suffer anymore, life was good.
Mei Mei put Mingzhu’s homework away and she spread out some papers on the table. "Mingzhu, come and tell me if you like these pictures of the camp mascots. Mama has put a lot of work into this, I even created three second virtual images of them in action. You are the first child in the world to see this."
Mingzhu walked over on her knees, kittens in hand as if they had been glued to the palms. Madam Feng also followed and she gestured for the triplets that had coincidentally returned home at the same time to join them.
"Aunt Feng, I am back." Jing Yi said politely.
"Us too." The boys spoke up together.
They greeted madam Feng first and then greeted Mei Mei and Mingzhu before finding places around the table.
"Bring some fruits for the children." Madam Feng ordered a maid.
