The footage which had been delivered to her phone by a private number was handed to the chief. It was just as he had expected. It had been cut and edited so smoothly that it showed the Mo’s as aggressors and Mei Mei and her group the innocent party.
But, the police chief was not the only one surprised by the footage, Mei Mei, Jingzhe and madam Feng were the same.
For one, Mo Tian tried to slap Mei Mei first and when he put his hand on her shoulder, it zoomed in to show that he was trying to push her down to kneel.
As for the part where Jingzhe kicked Zhenye, it was non existent. It did show Zhenye walking forward and calling Mei Mei and Jingzhe names.
Mei Mei looked at Jingzhe, raising her eyebrows as she was lost. Was this edited video your work? she asked.
He shook his head.
Then they both looked at Feng Qi and she was just as surprised.
"I believe that this is enough to explain what happened. Are there any questions Xu Shan asked the police chief?"
"This will suffice." he answered. Any further questioning was useless anyway and he was doing this on the surface. He had no plans to dig deep into the matter. Who had told the Mo’s to go to Mei Mei’s house?
He turned to Wu Tangning. "Miss Tangning, how did you get involved in the fight?"
One of Tangning’s lawyers answered on her behalf. "It was an unfair fight of six versus three. My client saw that her neighbor was in distress and she decided to help. What she did is heroic."
