Chapter 118: A money tree.
Mo Chenyu was arrested in the night and in the morning, when Mei Mei and Jingzhe were sending Mingzhu to the school bus, they found six members of the Mo family outside her gates.
They had just reached, timing their arrival with the exact moment when Mingzhu’s bus arrived.
"What is wrong with the security in place!!" Jingzhe mumbled, displeased.
Why did they keep letting the riffraff in? He winced when he felt a small hand clenching around his very tightly. It was Mingzhu, and she was without a smile. The little girl looked like she was ready to start a war right there.
"A Zhe take Mingzhu to the bus." Mei Mei told him.
"Mom, they are here to suck blood again....." Mingzhu started, planning to share the fact that she was going nowhere but Mei Mei shot a look similar to her Monday morning one and Mingzhu closed her mouth.
Jingzhe stooped down and he carried Mingzhu away, running so that he could return as quickly as possible. At the same time, madam Feng stepped out of the gate and Wu Tangning’s maid that was on her way out to buy her mistress the pizza she was craving so early in the morning turned back and run into the house.
All the maids had specific instructions. If there was chaos outside Mei Mei’s house, they were to wake her up no matter what time of the night it was. If she was away, they were to give her a call.
As they all knew how Tangning had benefited from blasting Mrs. Sun with eater, they took this instruction very seriously.
