Chapter 102: Men and women cannot be friends.
After sending off Mingzhu to school, Mei Mei went to the hospital with two of her lawyers to serve Mo Liang the divorce papers. One of her lawyers recommended that she wear a face mask but she turned him down. She had nothing to hide so why be ashamed.
There were mixed reactions on the faces of the people in the hospital, from staff to patients, they all had an opinion about her. Some were fascinated, others looked at her with mockery, some disgust. In a surprising twist of events, she even noticed hate.
As she walked down the hallway of the VIP wards, she thought about that hate and why she would be receiving it but she could not pinpoint a specific reason.
She did have a list however, like, Mo Liang’s fanatic fans, those who disapproved of her allowing Mrs. Sun to kneel. There were some confused people blaming her for the threats Mo Hao was receiving. Even those that thought she was making a big deal out of this matter by divorcing as an affair was not something they thought was worth breaking a family up over.
There were many reasons, but she did not care, it was her life not theirs. She pretended not to notice and walked to the room.
Two bodyguards were standing outside, they looked tired and hungry.
"I am his ex wife." Mei Mei shared. She had brought along their marriage certificates which she showed them.
She could have used her strength to push them away but Mei Mei did not want to cause commotion in the hospital.
They looked at each other, one shrugged and then they stepped away. She pushed the door open, went in and her gaze met with the side of Mo Liang’s face. He was sitting on the bed, reading a book.
