Chapter 98: Secret cheesecake flavors.
Ten minutes later, Mei Mei and Rose were giving Mingzhu and Liang a bath. Madam Feng was in the bathroom, sitting on a small stool, laughing her heart out.
"You should see the face that the old witch made when the water slapped her..." she broke off because she slid from the stool and yet she did not stop laughing.
Mei Mei and Rose were just giggling, shaking their heads.
Madam Feng wiped tears from the corners of her eyes with one hand, firmly grasping her phone in the other. "Doesn’t she know that Wu Tangning is the secret demon of this estate? Her mouth is more poisonous than a scorpion and she has a temper to match." She heaved and laughed even louder and more intensely than before.
Mei Mei got a towel, wrapped it around Mingzhu and lifted her from the bathtub. Mingzhu had a habit of saying, "Shooo.." whenever she was carried out of the bath. Lian decided to mimic it.
"I don’t think Lian has enjoyed bath time like this in so long." Rose said.
The girls were dried off and sent to bed. Madam Feng was on bedtime story duty so Mei Mei walked Rose to a guest bedroom. They walked slowly, giggling still about Mrs. Sun’s water slap.
"Wu Tangning is trending." Rose said.
Mei Mei had already seen the trending topics on her virtual screen. C4 was doing a wonderful job of promoting them.
