Chapter 58: Who invited the emperor?
A new day dawned and with it, excitement dwelled in Mei Mei’s house. This was because it was day that the space camp was to be opened. Breakfast was rushed through because Mei Mei could hardly eat a thing when her nerves were on fire. Her nervousness made Mingzhu nervous as well and the little one had only a bowl of porridge and three custard buns.
"Will you really not eat anymore?" Feng Qi asked her.
Mingzhu shook her head, her small palm stopped the basket of custard buns which Feng Qi was trying to use to coax her. "This general is too nervous to eat."
"Stop calling yourself that." Mei Mei said to her daughter.
The children at school were calling Mingzhu a general as were most people that recognized her anywhere. Mingzhu had accepted it and now it was her name, or so she had decided.
She was even watching all movies and dramas that had female generals, claiming she would become like one of them in future.
"This general is ready to go to her camp and tour the troops." She jumped off the chair and extended her hand to Jingzhe.
It was ridiculous how she made her small face appear all serious, as if she was truly a general and the words she was saying, she meant them.
Mei Mei rolled he eyes. "It is not your camp and they are not troops, they are my employees."
"Just let the child have fun." Feng Qi suggested.
Jingzhe chuckled and he carried Mei Mei. "Let’s go our little general. Please take it easy on the troops, they are not ready for your mightiness."
