Chapter 29: Exhibition Showdown
The Third Year Students of The Scarlet Academy were all gathered together in the sports field once again while a tablet was handed over to each Third Year Student present, with their identities registered on the tablet.
Ma Feng clicked a button on the tablet when it brought out the faces of his teammates—the teammates he was paired with—and they seemed to be connected by a wireless digital type of network.
"Greetings, Third Year Students of this Academy... I remain the Principal of this great Academy," the voice of Mr. Rolex was heard when he appeared in the form of a hologram, which was projected on the platform.
Silence reigned as the students watched the hologram from where they stood.
"The time for the Exhibition Showdown is now, and while you students are being paired into separate groups, we will begin the Exhibition Showdown... I call it an Exhibition Showdown, but it is directly a mission."
"You Third Year Students will be given direct chances to explore outside of the Academy, in the selected kingdoms ordained by the School Board. Every team will be given separate missions and roles to play."
"Your team's mission will be given directly into your tablets. I wish you good luck," Mr. Rolex said from the hologram, and the hologram vanished afterwards. The students began murmuring and whispering amongst themselves.
"Let me look at my team's mission... We will be heading towards the Kingdom of Sidra to acquire the Sapphire Stone, a treasure that lies at the heart of the Sidra Kingdom," Ma Feng read from the tablet.
"The Kingdom of Sidra? It seems like destiny always has its way," Ma Feng said while smiling, when he sensed a presence behind him. He swiftly turned to see Ashley Edan standing before him while holding her tablet.
"Uhmmm... Ma Feng, right? I can remember your stupid little face," Ashley spoke out.
"The Pink Killer. It will be troublesome having you as a team member. You are quite a virus to me," Ma Feng said to himself when he suddenly turned to see Walter of the Crescent Department approaching him.
