Chapter 27: Supreme Artifacts
It took Ma Feng fifteen minutes to appear before the Headquarters of the School Board. Miss Sarah, being a member of the Five Fingers, was given an office in the main headquarters of the School Board.
Ma Feng entered the mighty building, showing off his school ID card to the securities who demanded it. There were more than ten security checkpoints in the entire building, and the headquarters was highly guarded.
"In my former world... schools weren't as twisted as this," Ma Feng said to himself.
He was led by the map on his Erafel device until he landed at the doorstep of Miss Sarah's office. Ma Feng placed his hand on the door, and his fingerprints were scanned. The door opened up.
Ma Feng entered the office to see Miss Sarah seated on her throne-like chair with her legs crossed. She raised her head to stare at Ma Feng, who had just entered the office. Ma Feng turned to see two beings standing before her.
"Miss Sarah, I received a message from you that my artifact has been sent from the Kingdom of Marcel. I am here for it," Ma Feng said. Miss Sarah smiled as she calmly giggled and snapped her fingers.
The entire office transformed into a white empty room. The two men turned to face Ma Feng, smiles on their faces. The first figure walked up to Ma Feng, who remained calm.
"Greetings, Young Prince... We are the candidate representatives of Xi Dra, and we are here based on the orders of our High Noble, the Lord of Xi Dra. We are here with your artifact," the first figure said.
"Xi Dra? Oh, the artifacts production organization?" Ma Feng asked.
"My Prince, Xi Dra isn't only the artifacts production organization, but we are the soul of the Kingdom of Marcel. We present the powers of our kingdom, so we shouldn't be disrespected in such a way," the second being said.
"Oh, my bad. I guess I'm sorry then... I didn't realize," Ma Feng replied as he turned to see Miss Sarah resting her back on the wall, arms folded. She could easily kill these men if they were assassins.
