Once Lan Li had spoken, how could the group of hungry and thirsty big boys wait any longer? They followed He Zhilan and walked in. As they got closer, the aroma filled the air, making them incredibly excited.
He Zhilan arranged for the canteen’s aunty to help everyone get ginger tea and food. Then she walked towards He Teng. Seeing that He Teng was staring at her, she became puzzled, touched her own face, and asked, "Brother, is there something on my face?"
"No," He Teng shook his head, paused for a moment, and then added, "It seems like you’ve grown up a lot."
He Teng was genuinely surprised. After He Zhilan returned here alone, she actually thought of everyone at the Tea Garden. As soon as she came back, she not only had ginger tea made but also steamed buns waiting for everyone.
"So, should I take it as a compliment that I’m sensible?" He Zhilan smiled. "I’m married to you, I’m your wife! Shouldn’t I mature a bit to share some of your burdens?"
"You are sensible," He Teng didn’t skimp on his praise, and looked back at the group of people eating with satisfied and cheerful expressions, a soft look appearing in his eyes.
