School hadn’t officially started yet, so after she left the capital, she called He Teng directly to pick her up from the train station and take her to the military base to stay for two more days. However, as soon as He Teng arrived at the train station in his car, she had a quick meal with him there and then directed him to the big market.
"What are you planning to buy?" He Teng asked as he got out of the car and followed He Zhilan’s gaze, looking around the market.
"Why ask so many questions? Just follow and later be responsible for carrying things," He Zhilan said, shaking her head with no intention of telling He Teng why she came here.
But, she knew very well that she was planning to buy a lot of things to stuff into He Teng’s dormitory at the base.
Thus, He Teng followed He Zhilan around, watching her almost raid the market, buying pots, pans, ladles, and all other kitchen utensils while he was in charge of carrying them the whole time.
After wandering around the market for an hour, He Zhilan finally stopped shopping and turned to look at the items in He Teng’s hands, her face filled with satisfaction.
