Chapter 132: Slightly Drunk Enthralment 7_1
He Teng was so drunk they practically had to carry him home. Lan Li was haughtily aloof and disliked He Zhilan, and He Zhilan equally despised the hurtful things Lan Li said from behind a half-open door. So, the three of them silently walked back to the inn.
"Cpt. Lan, thank you. I have to take care of He Teng now, so I won’t walk you out," He Zhilan spoke. She disliked Lan Li and was angry with him, but she still gave him the respect he was due.
Having said that, He Zhilan showed Lan Li out and shut the door. She turned back and looked at He Teng, her anger flaring up once more. She was furious that Lan Li dared to insult her and that He Teng was too drunk to do anything about it.
"Dammit, He Teng! Stupid He Teng! Your wife gets abused by your comrade and you do nothing!" Zhilan pinched He Teng’s face gently, expressing her slight frustration in her own way. He Teng was too drunk to even realize or hear what she was doing.
However, if He Teng had been sober, even if she had the courage of a hundred men, she wouldn’t dare to do what she did.
After letting off some steam, Zhilan sighed and pulled off He Teng’s shoes, pushed him in to lay more comfortably on the bed, she then turned and headed to the bathroom, brought back a wet towel, first undressing He Teng, then wiping his face and body, then she put his pajamas on him to make him more comfortable.
By the time she got done with all these chores, He Zhilan was sweaty. She tidied up and took a shower in the bathroom.
About fifteen minutes later, He Zhilan came out of the bathroom. However, the sight of the person who was originally lying on the bed, now wide awake and straight sit upright gave her a fright.
"When did you wake up? You nearly scared me out of my wits!" Zhilan clutched her chest. Seeing He Teng’s intense gaze made her uneasy. She was worried he might become violent because of his drunkenness.
