Chapter 109: THE ANSWER (2)
A/N: There seems to be something wrong with the way my Chapters are updating. So I ask that until I have fixed the issue, no one purchase privilege. Because I am at work from 7am to 9pm daily, it is taking longer to fix the issue, although I noticed the issue two days ago. I will try and fix such that the Chapters that come just before privilege are not affected and fix the entire issue over the weekend. I ask for all of your understanding, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

"Why? What exactly is Kratel?"
Haniel poured himself another cup of the tea. "You truly do not know. What is this future he spoke of. If even the one he brought has no idea why they are here. Oh Kratel. What were you thinking" His voice was low, and although Arella heard him, she did not understand what he meant.
"For now, you must not allow anyone to know you are not Kratel." He gripped his tea tightly in his hand, "There must be a reason why you were brought to this specific time and place, a reason why I am the one who noticed that Kratel’s body has awoken."
He raised one hand, and rubbed his finger on his forehead, "Great Heavens, why does he always leave me to do the heavy lifting in this relationship. Do I not have feelings?" He murmured once more as he picked up another piece of pastry and took an angry bite.
Arella observed Haniel in silence for a moment, taking in his frustration, his exhaustion, and the deep grief he was struggling to conceal. She exhaled slowly, placing her empty cup on the table with deliberate care. "You seem... oddly accepting of this," she finally said, tilting her head. "For someone who just learned their ’sire’ is missing, perhaps even lost forever."
Haniel scoffed, swirling the tea in his cup. "Accepting? No. I am merely doing what I always do—cleaning up after his messes." He took another sip before fixing his piercing gaze on her. "I will find a way to bring him although I am sure that he had a plan for bringing you here. The faster we figure out what that plan was, the easier it will be for us. For me."
His unwavering resolve made something uncomfortable coil in Arella’s stomach. He was placing faith in him, despite everything, despite not knowing any plans that Kratel had. Such unwavering loyalty was scary.
"Should I help you in any way?" Arella finally picked up the pastry and took a bite. It had a soft cakey texture, and was not too sweet. It reminded Arella of the cakes and cookies their chef at home would bake.
"The best thing you can do is remain silent if someone approaches you. He was known for his moods and sometimes for going silent for periods of time. Until at the very least all his memories come to you, or at the very least he returns." He stopped swirling his tea, looking at the contents, as if it held all the secrets to his problems.
