Velmoria and the other maids had dressed Arella in flowing layers of very dark red silk. Just like all the other clothes that were provided, there was no corset and the material of the clothing clung to her skin, showing all her curves. The neckline this time was lower than the velvet dress she had worn during the day, with the V showing just a little cleavage.
Not used to wearing such clothing, Arella felt just a tad conscious about the deep set cleavage. Her doubts were quelled when she remembered the cleavage on the demons she had seen on her wedding day.
"This is somewhat your first official duty as queen. I think it proper that you do not wear clothing that looks so much like that of an angel." Velmoria explained as they dressed her, having noticed the look Arella had on her face after seeing the dress.
"I met with the designers," Arella proposed that tidbit.
"This is more important than the designers. The royal performers travel on official duty withthe king and queen to provide entertainment. Sometimes, a royal liked the work of the royal performers, which helped unite the demons way back before the current demon king came into power. It is now a little bit more different than it was back then, but the demons still consider it a very important job."
"I see," Arella did not make more of a fuss on the clothing after that.

Velmoria led her to the hall where the performers were going to try their luck for the spot. In the room, at the farthest corner, sat two large thrones and a wide spread of food on a table in front of it.
