Chapter 47: THE DISCUSSION OF A DEMON KING AND QUEEN (4) ARELLA’S POV
Arella wanted to crawl into a hole and hide. Perhaps even die.
If someone had asked her like two hundred years ago if she knew she would marry the demon king, the answer would be a big fat no.
If someone asked her during the same time period if she would ever have sex outside her chambers, the answer would similarly be a huge fat no.
Of course she had been thinking of climbing King Varziel, but it was not like she was actually going to go through with it! She was an angel for crying out loud. Their kind did not do anything as impulsive or unbecoming of their dignity; at the very least that is what she told herself. Yet, there she was, sitting in the aftermath of their actions. Her want for him still simmered beneath her skin, muted but still present.
Her toes were still curled up from all the pleasure she had received. It was all too much all at once. She pressed her palms to her flushed cheeks, willing her racing heart to calm down at least slightly. All she could hear was the steady thump of her heart. It was so loud she was sure even King Varziel could hear it.
She glanced up at him, peeking through the cracks of her fingers. There was a drop of sweat dotting his brow, but apart from that, he looked far too composed for someone who had just... well, *that*.
He leaned casually against the edge of the grand table, pushing himself further in her still. It was then that Arella realized that he had yet to pull out of her. His eyes studied her, glowing faintly in the light of the setting sun. His lips were curved up into a satisfied smile as he studied the marks he had left on her skin. Arella wanted to throw something at his face. Preferably something heavy.
"Well," his voice was husky, "my queen. Whatever shall we do? I don’t want us to be parted." He thrust gently, although he was not as hard.
Arella glared at him, her face burning hotter than the holy fire she could conjure up. "Will you kindly move? She scooched back, trying to get some space between them. "Someone could come in and see us like this."
