The days ran by quickly and as Lia had promised her grandmother and brother, she had arrived before the prison gate, her eyes on the large fence before her. She was scared to step in, scared of facing her mother, not after everything that had happened.
There’s no way Garth had not seen the photos. She could already tell what her mother would say. But she still went in anyway.
She needed to say her goodbye before leaving completely. As Lia stepped inside the prison, everyone stared at her strangely. Of course, they all recognize who she was, the slutty Hamilton daughter.
Maybe she should have brought her shade and at least concealed her identity, but the prison guards will never let her in. To be granted passage, one needed to be clean with face and identity revealed.
This prison held the biggest criminals, and they were scared spies could be sent to free them.
