"You’ve done nothing wrong this time Alanis. It’s me, it’s all me. I’m sorry I threw myself at you. I shouldn’t have" She started.
"Threw yourself at me? What are you talking about?" Alanis’s voice softened as he stared at her. It wasn’t a bad thing if she threw herself at him
"I... it’s alright if you don’t find me attractive enough Alanis. Our marriage was never built on looks anyway. We could change the rules and maybe each of us gets to spend time with other people." Alanis could not understand where she got this theory from.
Is this why she pushed him to Brenda today? Because she thought he didn’t find her attractive?

"Pretend about what?" Alanis found her words almost comical. He has spent all day wondering what he did wrong without realizing his villain’s actions stem from the misunderstanding she formed in her head.
