"Mother, is it true, did you really do it?" Lia asked, still unable to believe her mother would do such. Why would she try to kill Frank Blackwood, they didn’t even have any relationship.
Garth pressed her lips together, it was a favor, she was only doing a favor. She was still in shock at how Elisa had exposed the little favor she asked of. Elisa came crying to her for help, the very day she found out Frank Blackwood had willed all of his properties to his daughter Harlow.
Since Garth was an expert in killing husbands, she had offered to help her friend, but little did she know it would backfire tremendously on her.
If she had known Elisa would betray her, she would never have helped her.
"Where’s Alanis, why is he not here?" Garth asked her daughter and son who had visited. Alanis is meant to be there with her now, he’s supposed to send their lawyers to get her out of here. Or better still, bribe his wife’s father to let go of the case.
"Alanis is on vacation with his wife." Charlotte was the one to speak from behind. She had never wanted to get involved in their foolishness, but George and Lia kept calling, crying, and begging to see their mother.
