As Harlow stepped out of the villa with Charlotte, a sleek black limousine was already waiting at the entrance. Its polished surface gleamed under the evening lights.
Alanis was already outside, standing tall beside the car, waiting for them. As soon as he saw them approaching, he stepped forward, his usual sharp gaze softening as he reached for his grandmother’s hand.
"Come, Grandma," he said gently, offering his arm to her.
Charlotte smiled warmly, placing her hand in his. "Such a gentleman," she mused as he helped her into the car.
Harlow followed closely, stepping into the limo with ease. The inside was just as elegant as expected, plush leather seats, dim golden lights, and a soft classical tune playing in the background.
Both women say together while Alanis sits on the opposite side.
The ride to the old mansion was smooth, the quiet hum of the engine filling the silent night. Harlow gazed out the tinted windows, watching the city lights blur past. This night truly was going to be an interesting night.
