When Harlow and Alanis got back home they were both greeted by Ava who was standing on the front porch of the Villa waiting for her miss Harlow and Master Alanis to come back.
"Ava?" Harlow called her maid when she saw her. She didn’t like the frown on Ava’s face so she frowned too wondering what had happened to Charlotte. They haven’t been gone all day, did Garth already do something to the older woman?
This is why she must carry Charlotte anywhere she goes. She will never let anything bad happen to Grandma Hamilton.
"Master Alanis, Miss Harlow." Ava greeted with a bow.
"What are you doing here?" Alanis asked because he had placed her in charge of his grandmother. Unlike Harlow, he was calm knowing that nothing bad would happen to his grandmother. No one dared touch a hair on Charlotte’s body because they would never live to tell the tale of what he would do to them.
"I came to talk to Miss Harlow," Ava said. She had read through that document to see that Claudia was not Frank’s true child and that Elisa had been lying all this while. Ava had not told Harlow the truth yet because she wanted her to see for herself too.
