Charlotte listened to the two women closely but judging by the past, she didn’t want to believe everything they said. She knew their tricks so well that she would never fall for their tricks again. Though Harlow has been acting differently recently, something tells her this woman was setting her granddaughter-in-law again.
"Harlow, did you do it?" She asked wanting to hear her granddaughter-in-law’s side of the story.
"Grandma, are you calling mother a liar? Are you believing a stranger’s words over ours?" Lia asked infuriated by her grandmother’s action. How dare Charlotte do this to them?
She has no right to question their sincerity.
"I didn’t ask you to speak Lia. I have heard your side of the story, now let me hear Harlow’s." Charlotte cut her granddaughter off.
"I can’t believe you mother, you dare embarrass me before this thing." Garth barked. "I stepped out of the Villa and saw Harlow attacking my daughter. She had called the guards here to throw her out of her father’s house."
"How dare a stranger try to chase a member of this family out of the Villa?" She yelled this time. She was done enduring the insults from everyone in this family. She would never let them bully her or her children anymore.
"Harlow is a member of this family Garth. She’s married to Alanis." Charlotte said. "Lia on the other hand is not a member of the family until she’s served her punishment," Charlotte added.
