Chapter 133: HOSPITAL 2
As Harlow and Alanis prepared to leave the doctor’s office, the doctor spoke hesitantly. "I don’t know what I did to upset you, Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton, but I’m truly sorry. People love spreading fake rumors, and I can only hope you haven’t believed them." He bowed slightly. "If the medication doesn’t work, please don’t hesitate to return."
Harlow and Alanis didn’t respond, their cold expressions unchanged. The doctor had no idea of the true reason for their disdain, instead assuming it stemmed from unfounded gossip. If only he knew how deeply he had wronged them both.

Outside the hospital, Alanis helped Harlow into the car before stepping aside to make a few quick phone calls. Once inside, Harlow broke the silence. "I’ll stop at Shoot Pictures. I have a meeting with my new crew," she said, glancing at her watch.
"When will you be done? I can come back to pick you up," Alanis offered, his tone unusually warm.
Harlow shook her head, her gaze fixed on the passing scenery. "I’ll come back on my own. I’m not a child." She said.
As the car rolled on, Alanis’s thoughts lingered on her. He remembered his past life when Claudia had stolen Harlow’s movie script and passed it off as her own. That movie had become one of the biggest hits in the world, but it was never Claudia’s work, it was Harlow’s. Back then, blinded by lies, Alanis had sided with the wrong person.
Now, seeing her brilliance firsthand, he felt a deep regret. She wasn’t just talented, she was extraordinary. From designing world-class jewelry to managing businesses and writing scripts, she excelled at everything. Even her cooking, which he had once dismissed, haunted his memory. He would always give them to Gus or his guards and they always raved about her meals, but he’d never bothered to taste them himself. How foolish he had been.
All he thought about them was that his wife was a scheming mad woman who wanted to hurt fragile Claudia.
