Chapter 113: Princess Niyasa’s struggle

In the corridor outside the dining room, Emily, Aiden, and Aziel gathered at the far corner, watching Niyasa as she stared at the blood on the floor, which she had yet to start cleaning. The four dead bodies had been carried away, making it easier for the young princess to get to her assigned work.
"Somebody get me a bucket of water and a mop!" Niyasa yelled, her voice echoing through the corridor. With Dante and their grandmother nowhere in sight, she had once again found her voice. In her frustration, she demanded, "Where are the servants?!"
"They have returned to their daily tasks," Emily replied to her sister, not knowing if she was supposed to laugh or cry at her sister’s stupidity. After witnessing their oldest brother make an Elder minister explode before their eyes, she was lucky to still be alive.
"How am I supposed to get this cleaned then?" Niyasa asked with a frown.
"Incredible. To think the day has come where I would hear that Niyasa has to clean," Aiden stated in surprise, not expecting her to undertake the work. However, he acknowledged that he would do the same if he saw people being killed one after another.
"Aziel!" Niyasa called the minister, who was standing idle. She waved him over and requested, "Go get me a bucket of water and mop. Actually, on second thought, get two buckets. Hurry."
"Aziel won’t be able to assist you today, Niyasa. Brother Dante was very clear about not involving ourselves in this," Emily stated, gazing at the bloody corridor through which none had dared to walk since the incident occurred, "We will be standing at the side, providing you with moral support so that you don’t feel alone."
"Don’t mock me, Lily," Niyasa growled through gritted teeth as she walked towards them.
"I don’t dare laugh at someone’s misery," Emily responded in a prim and proper tone. She added firmly, "As you brought this upon yourself, you will be the one to clean it."
