OMG!!! My Crippled Husband is a Hot, Powerful CEO

Chapter 213 - Daddy, I Want to Marry Mommy

"I’m glad to sign up for this even without knowing," Violet said excitedly as a girl around the age of eight approached her. "They showed me your photo. You are my mother, and my name is Violet," she said excitedly. Violet was not surprised since she signed up for it.

Warmly, she embraced the girl, their joy mirroring each other’s. Other children came around their sponsors, mentioning names and telling them all that they had been doing.

The most interesting part was when a boy of around ten walked to grandpa confidently and introduced himself. "Please call me Aristotle. You are my father."

Grandpa stared at Alex with a confused expression as Alex explained, "I used a part of your allowance to sponsor him." It took time for grandpa to understand how things were done in this particular orphanage, but as soon as he did, he was upset. Not with the fact that Alex touched his money without permission but rather for keeping it a secret.

"Why did you not tell me about it all this while? I would have sponsored a lot more." Alex smiled. "It’s meant to be a secret, and there are lots of sponsors waiting on the list."

"I will sponsor too," Dion said. Alex playfully pinched her cheek. "Of course, you will." Logan was so emotional and guilty in his wheelchair; he couldn’t find the courage to look Alex in the eyes.

"I hated you for so long for the wrong reason," he confessed. "Alex, why didn’t you tell me? I would have been good." Alex lowered himself and held his hand. "You don’t have to know to be good. The most important thing is for everything you do to come from your heart."

Logan smiled, recalling when they used to be kids. This was how they used to be before the fire that burned their love. "Thank you. I promise to be a better person, and as soon as you unfreeze my assets, I will sponsor too."

"He unfroze your assets before the welcome party," grandpa chimed. Logan was stunned. "He did?" He was staring at Alex, and the latter nodded in confirmation. Logan knew that for the rest of his life, he would never be able to get over the guilt.

A boy of around the age of four years embraced Joanna by the legs. "Mommy, I am John." Joanna was so elated; she lifted the boy in her arms. He was so cute and well-mannered, but Alex was worried about the weight of the child, though he did not immediately stop her.

"It’s good to finally see you. So, what have you been doing all day?" Joanna asked, and the boy began to excitedly tell her. "Eating, playing, and counting." Everyone laughed, but when they looked at Alex, they saw him differently.
