Chapter 211 – She doesn’t want them
Dion descended the stairs, looking her best. She was clad in a couture gown ordered by Alex, and as usual, it had a lot of diamond embroideries that caused her to glow among the rest.
Her hair was neatly styled, giving her a graceful appearance as she walked to meet Grandpa.
The guests were just marveled at the sight of her as murmurs broke out. "Dion is alive, all grown, and so stunning."
"Alex won’t have everything anymore," Agnes was saying, but Alex glared at her.
"The King family isn’t poor, from which we are all beneficiaries. If I were to have everything, then how come you still get fat allowances?"
His words caused a layer of shame to settle on Agnes’s face as her husband chastised her. "I told you to be quiet, but that seems to be too hard for you."
"Mrs. King is so stunning, but is she pregnant? There is a little bump," someone from the crowd pointed out. Joanna smiled but did not accept or debunk the rumors.
They could think whatever they wanted, and as soon as she gives birth, everyone would know.
Violet and Aiden were so radiant as Violet embraced Joanna. Even Monica was there.
"My granddaughter had been lost, but now she’s found. Everyone, I want to introduce Dion King as my granddaughter, and she would directly be supporting her elder brother, Alexander King."
Grandpa and Alex had decided not to mention anything about her mental trauma over the years but to make it seem like a lost but found kind of a thing.
