Chapter 133 – Do you mind if I spend the night at your house?
Joanna lay unconscious in Alex’s arms, while Logan was also unconscious on the floor.
Alex gently carried Joanna to the bed before dialing a number on his phone.
"Ike, I sent you a key. Take Logan to the hospital and handle what needs to be done."
On the other end of the line, Ike was already on his way to the location where the tracker was beeping when Alex dialed another number.
"Jack, come and take Madam home and ensure she rests," Alex instructed before leaving the hotel room.
The party continued smoothly, but two people were missing: Joanna and Logan.
Logan’s absence wasn’t as noticeable since he wasn’t there from the beginning. However, when Alex joined the banquet without Joanna by his side, Violet grew suspicious and approached him.
"Alex, where is Joan?" Violet inquired. Alex responded, "I told Aiden to keep an eye on her. Have you seen them?"
He was joking, but his expression was stern. Violet remembered seeing Joanna follow Alex when he dragged Melanie along with him and countered, "I don’t believe you. I saw her follow you."
Alex was impressed. Violet might have her shortcomings, but he admired her intelligence.
This demonstrated that even without a bodyguard, Violet was capable of ensuring Joanna’s safety by constantly watching out for her.
