Chapter 103: - 103 – Cancel the order
Alex was furious that his hidden secrets were being revealed to Joanna, unaware that she already knew.
He signaled to Aiden, who approached him as Alex whispered,
"Colton must not survive another day."
Despite giving Colton a chance to stay away from Joanna and live, he was enraged by Colton’s public declaration of love for her. Alex feared that Colton’s words might trigger Joanna’s memory of their past relationship.
He couldn’t tolerate another rival, even if their relationship was contractual. No man had the right to approach Joanna until after the divorce.
Aiden hesitated for a moment. While he usually followed Alex’s orders without question, he wondered why Alex wouldn’t let Joanna move on after the divorce if he didn’t love her.
Nevertheless, he nodded and said, "It will be done."
He only hoped that Alex would not be the one to retaliate after the contract ended, as killing Joanna’s ex was unrealistic.
A text message was promptly sent to Dario. "You have twenty-four hours to eliminate Doctor Colton. Attached is his current location and picture."
His phone camera was so powerful that he could zoom in from where he stood to capture a clear image of Colton.
Joanna was currently confused, but since this wasn’t a love marriage, even without her memory, the choice was clear.
