He frowned and ordered, "Go and investigate her motives for going to Liang Province. Once the preparations here are complete, I will go there myself."
Zhang Zongyi clasped his fists and said, "This subordinate accepts the orders."
After Zhang Zongyi left, Wan Sifan looked at the clear sky after the rain. He stared at the blue sky for a moment and sighed softly, "Elder Brother, I will leave to pursue my own life. We may not meet again in this life, but I hope you can live as happily as before."
He sat for a while in the pavilion, then stood up and picked up his sword. When the housekeeper saw him coming, he said, "Wangye, the preparations are ready. We can leave anytime."
Wan Sifan nodded, "All right. Let’s leave after we finish taking care of things here."
A few hours later, while the soldiers were busy arranging the prisoners and making preparations, Wan Sifan and his party had already left the imperial capital city and were on their way to Liang Province.
