I Got My System Late, But I'll Become Beastgod

Chapter 138: Breath Like a Mountain, Flow Like the Wind

The night had fallen like a thick velvet curtain over the jungle, wrapping the world in silence and moonlight. The stars blinked above the canopy, and the soft sound of crickets echoed in the distance. A gentle breeze stirred the surface of the pond, sending delicate ripples across the water’s mirror-like skin.

Aamir and Vyuk sat quietly near the pond’s edge. The soft glow of moonlight bathed the scene in silver. Spark and Tony were curled up beside Aamir, snoring softly, their small chests rising and falling in rhythm with the breeze.

Aamir glanced at Vyuk, who sat cross-legged with his hands resting calmly on his knees, eyes closed. There was something timeless about him—like a stone shaped by wind over centuries.

Suddenly, Vyuk spoke, his voice calm and low.

"Listen, Aamir... Pran is the subtle life-energy that flows through all living things."

"It exists in layers—starting from the chaotic, personal current inside your body to the great universal river that connects everything in existence."

Aamir remained silent, letting the words sink in.

"Right now, you’re only scratching the surface," Vyuk continued, "trying to sense your own life force and maybe move it. But unlike Adrenaline Energy, Pran cannot be pushed or bent. It’s not something you force. You must become worthy of guiding it."

Aamir leaned forward, intrigued. "So... how do I become worthy?"

Vyuk opened his eyes, the firelight of wisdom flickering within them.

"You learn to breathe like a mountain—still, calm, unmoving."
