The sun had dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the university campus. Aamir and his friends stood at the edge of the courtyard, eyes fixed on Haider Ali, who was speaking to a group of instructors in low tones. The atmosphere was tense — the recent assassination attempt had shaken everyone, and the looming threat of war had only added to the pressure.
As the rest of the students were escorted back to their dorms under strict supervision, Aamir stayed behind. His heart pounded with purpose as he approached Haider Ali.
"Sir," Aamir called out, his voice steady.
Haider Ali didn’t even turn. "No," he said firmly, as though he already knew what Aamir was going to ask.
"But sir," Aamir persisted, stepping closer, "I want to fight. This isn’t just any battle — it’s for our country’s pride. I’ve already been attacked twice. I didn’t mind then. But this time... they attacked my friends too."
Haider Ali’s eyes narrowed. "This is not your fight."
A voice rang out behind them.
"It is now, sir," Seenu said, stepping forward beside Aamir. His tone was sharp, resolute. "They tried to kill students just to humiliate our country."
Kunal crossed his arms, his expression unreadable. "I don’t like those people. I’ll help Aamir and Seenu."
Raj grinned faintly. "Count me in too, sir. No way I’m sitting this out."
Riya nodded with determination. "Yes, sir. Please let us fight. We’re not just students anymore."
