Chapter 2 - 1 - Are You My Maid?
It seems ... good luck is not on my side.
As Momoka and I were on our way home, we were greeted with a series of accidents that were a little more unique than usual.
Baaammm!!
Without any apparent warning, the sound of an explosion echoed as we were about to enter our residential area. Just a few meters away at a major intersection, we saw a car that exploded and burned terribly.
"Weiss, I feel like your fate is a little luckier than experiencing something like this," said Momoka with her dark joke as she watched the car explode and burn in front of her eyes.
"I know that my fate is a little better than this. But..." The words filled with feelings of wanting to run away from this place were like getting sharp stares from a group of people who seemed to be tied to the dark underworld.
Not far from the accident site across from where we lived, a misfortune had befallen me.
"Can you face them all at once?" I asked Momoka who only gave her a small laugh.
"Isn't it supposed to be older brother's job to protect his cute younger sister?" Momoka said while stretching her fingers to do a fistfight that matched her S-rank strength level.
"This should be a pretty easy task for an S-rank in the future," replied Momoka who was preparing to attack with her physical abilities, I could see her Succubus wings growing out and her Succubus tail snaking around.
My steps took a step back to give Momoka some space to move.
