Chapter 103:The Danger In North
The sheer weight of Kael’s killing intent pressed down on the battlefield like a suffocating storm. The knights shivered, their breaths turning ragged, as if an invisible force was crushing their chests.
Some of them instinctively stepped back, their instincts screaming danger. This was not normal. This was not human at all.
The beasts, despite their monstrous forms and savage nature, trembled. Their growls turned into uneasy whimpers. Their bodies stiffened, their tails tucked low. Even the Ice Men, beings without emotion or will, seemed to hesitate under the sheer madness and bloodlust radiating from Kael.
Then, the leader of the pack stepped forward. A massive, hulking wolf, much larger than the rest, with its fur as white as the frozen tundra looked ahead.
Scarred, battle-worn, and menacing, it radiated pure dominance. Its piercing golden eyes locked onto Kael, its fangs bared in aggression... but its body betrayed its fear. It was sweating, actually sweating in the cold.
For the first time, a beast of the wild knew what true terror felt like.
With a loud, shaken roar, the wolf threw its head back, then snapped its gaze toward its pack. With a sharp howl of retreat, the beasts immediately turned and ran, their massive forms vanishing into the blizzard. Even the Ice Men crumbled into the snow, retreating as if they had never been there.
A deadpan silence lingered for a moment
Vic just stood there, frozen in horror, staring at Kael as if he had seen a ghost. His mouth opened, but no words came out. He even rubbed his eyes, wondering if this was an illusion, if this was even reality. The other knights, though trained warriors, didn’t dare move.
Their backs were soaked with sweat. Their hands trembled. Some even fall to their knees, unable to comprehend what they had just witnessed.
Baret, Gare, and Chris, though trying to act nonchalant, were screaming with joy inside. This was Kael.
