Chapter 10 - 9: Learning from the Tiger
「Yingtai Mall.」
Basking in the warm airflow of the mall’s air conditioning, Jiang Yanyue took a deep breath, feeling rejuvenated as if a fish had just found water.
Tossing the pajamas back to Jiang Shu, Jiang Yanyue quickly headed to a buffet-style barbecue restaurant with the lowest average prices.
"No drinks, just starch sausages. A little seafood, mainly meat."
After Jiang Shu paid, he casually found a seat. Having practiced martial arts for three months, he naturally knew that only fresh meat could substantially replenish and enhance a martial artist’s Qi and blood. The meat at this buffet, much of it frozen for who knows how many years, contained very low levels of Qi and blood energy. It was mostly just good for ordinary people to enjoy the taste. But after all, the person eating was his own little sister.
Watching Jiang Yanyue darting around like a busy bee, Jiang Shu sat with closed eyes practicing the Hungry Tiger Breathing Method. He maintained the Hungry Tiger Stance for about ten minutes until his stomach periodically let out low rumbling sounds.
When Jiang Yanyue returned and saw Jiang Shu with his eyes closed in his stance, she didn’t say anything. Instead, she scrolled through her phone while placing the grilled meat onto his plate.
"Jiang Shu, have you already sensed your Qi and blood?"
It wasn’t until Jiang Shu opened his eyes and picked up the first skewer of meat that Jiang Yanyue suddenly asked.
Since Xia Country announced the martial arts system, many people had learned through the news and the internet that practicing stances involved three Realms: Qi Blood Sensing, Qi Blood Transport, and the Grand Circulation of Qi and blood throughout the body.
However, among ordinary citizens, few knew the specific markers for these three Realms or how to differentiate between them.
