The dream was so lively and vivid. I hastily made the call to Conri as I rushed out of the room leaving a shocked-looking Haida.
" Conri, did you just have the same vision as me?" I spoke up when he answered the call.
"I did and so did Lucian" He responded, and I could tell he had just woken up by the way his voice sounded groggy.
"I am going crazy," I grunted, and I heard Haida yell my name from the room. "I will call you later." I disconnected the call and walked back.
"What the fuck is wrong, and you better not utter the words, I don’t know. "She raised her hand and pointed a finger at me.
"I had this dream about the past and why we have a bond with Conri "I responded, and the bed dipped as I got on. An hour later I had narrated everything in the dream and Haida had this look on their face that could only described as wonder.
"So, the bond is called a Vulcan bond, "Haida asked.
"Yes. It was given to Bering the sea god and has been passed on from generation to generation. "I nodded.
"I understand. "Haida nodded. "At first, I was jealous and wondered why you had this bond but now, it’s clear that this bond is part of you, a reward from the immortal realm. I could only nod as we cuddled with Haida in bed and then the twins arrived yelling and Haida took them to play.
It was late in the evening when I left the villa and swam to the pearl nest with Meglado. I could tell he had a lot on his mind by the way his brows remained furrowed even as we settled by the living room and stared out into the beautiful seabed.
