Chapter 391: KING OF WOLVES PUPS
8 MONTHS LATER
CONRI DOLF’S POV
" We need to go back, " Lucian demanded. " I can feel that the pups will be here soon"
I stood by the bed as I watched how uncomfortable Lucian was as his belly protruded and responded " Let us have the pups here in Attu Island. "
" No" He vehemently refused and his eyes blazed at me. " These pups will be born in Sitka. Have the jet ready Conri and we shall leave for Chugach tonight"
Three hours later, we had left Attu Island for Chugach and surprisingly Lucian was calm through the whole flight. I had called Zeeb to arrange for cars to pick us up when we landed and urged him not to tell anyone that we were coming back to Chugach.
Eight months had flown by and I kept busy by drawing up plans for the upgrade of Chugach town while Lucian worked on the funding and expansion of the businesses. Luka had started homeschooling and we video-called him every day. Godmother would spend the weekends in the resort together with Mrs. Hemming, with Keith, and Addison who was pregnant with his pup.
Uncle Cadman and Aurora had sent me photos of the upgrades done in Chugach prison and I was so impressed by the way Everest had hastened the renovations after I sent him the drawings and plans. Lucian was happy to spend money and Anisha attended the opening ceremony as the CEO of Due Corporation. The Golden shifter pack joined in the celebration and it was such a grand ceremony from the pictures that Anisha and Zeeb shared.
The days passed by so fast as Lucian grew bigger and more irritable by the day as his hormones and moods played a hand in his emotions. But the best thing was the fact that we spent time together, planning the future, investing, and loving each other. My mind wandered back to the conversation that Lucian brought up two months back while we were in bed one night.
" Husband, I think we need to create a room for the pups in the Resort mansion. " Lucian stated.
" Mmh ’’ I nodded noncommittally and then realized that Lucian had gone silent and turned around and his back was facing me.
