Chapter 367: KING OF WOLVES RUT
CONRI DOLF POV
The first heat wave hit my body just as I left the KODA council hall. I decided to go for a run, got out of the car, and told the driver to go back to the Freki Resort mansion. I shifted and then pushed the words to Lucian through our mind link "Lil pup, I am going for a run"
" Are you okay ?" Lucian asked and I knew he sensed that something was off.
" Yes," I assured him and closed the mind link after bidding him goodbye.
Hours later, my body was burning up and I found myself running to the Old Cabin in Freki Mountain where I had spent my years in exile as a rogue alpha. The structure stood tall just as I had left it. There was the smell of fresh furnish and I chuckled knowing well that it was Everest who had come over and cleaned up the cabin.
I walked to the back of the cabin where the key was hidden under the patio’s flower pot. I used it to open the back door and the minute I stepped into the room, the scent of fresh leather chairs hit my nose. All the furniture in the room had been changed and a large frame of our wedding photo with Lucian filled the living room side wall.
" This brat always has something up his sleeve" I chuckled and walked to the bedroom. The bed was new and I knew Lucian was involved in choosing it, by the study headboard with our initials on it.
I turned to leave and felt as if my whole body was on fire. My heart was racing and seemed to want to burst out of my chest, my vision blurred, my breathing hitched heavily and my lower body tingled.
" Your rut is here" Dolf announced.
